GLENVIEW, IL — Voters approved a $119 million bond issue Tuesday to provide for repairs and renovations to Glenview School District 34 facilities. The funding will allow for improvements to all eight schools in the district. Seven of the district's eight buildings date back seven decades or older.

District 34 administrators said the bond issue will allow their students to joint the rest of Glenbrook High School District 225 feeder school districts by offering full-day kindergarten.

According to a tax calculator provided by the district, the estimated 2021 property tax increase would be about $400 for a taxpayer whose bill was $10,000 last year.
