Glenview Seeks New Comprehensive Plan
First community workshop on village's plan for next few decades to occur this month.
Numerous changes and developments in the village of Glenview over the last decade have called for an updated comprehensive plan just 11 years after the last one was implemented.
The campaign for “Glenview Looking Forward” will begin this month with the launch of a website and first community workshop on June 22 at Village Hall, according to the Glenview Announcements.

“We’re a maturing community now,” Planning Director Jeff Brady said, noting that the time is now to decide its future.
The village will also plan site visits and two “charrettes” - described by the Announcements as “intense, two- and four-day meetings in which participants will discuss, respectively, a vision for Glenview and turning that vision into reality.”
