Greetings From Glenview Road Offers 'Unique' Shopping Experience
The community event, presented by Friends of Downtown Glenview, will also offer music, food and beverages.
GLENVIEW, IL — A "fantastic" community event is planned for downtown Glenview. Greetings from Glenview Road, presented by Friends of Downtown Glenview, will feature live music, delicious food, refreshing beverages and a unique shopping experience.
The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, in downtown Glenview, along Glenview Road. Participating stores will have exciting specials and surprises. Food and drinks will be available starting at 5 p.m., next to the Glenview Grind. Live music begins at 7:30 p.m.

Organizers said attendees can register for a chance to win one of two $250 gift certificates from downtown Glenview merchants. To enter the drawing, visit each participating store and receive a stamp on your card. Collect at least 12 stamps, then head to the Glenview Grind by 8 p.m. to submit your card. The prize drawing will take place at 8:30 p.m. Winners will be contacted via email.
