Peter M. Turlo, 56, of Greenwood, Indiana, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 11:42 p.m. Sept. 11, in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Oct. 28.

Scott Solomon, 44, of the 1600 block of Northland Avenue, Highland Park, is accused of public indecency, and was arrested at 10:44 a.m. Sept. 6, following an investigation of an incident in the 2200 block of Willow Road. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Oct. 5.

BURGLARY

Jessie Melchor, 20, of the 3500 block of Salem Walk, Northbrook, is accused of burglary, criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 10:57 p.m. Sept. 8, following an investigation in the 400 block of 4th Street. He was held for a bond hearing

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

  • An employee of a business in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at on Sept. 7 that a male exited the store at 6:25 p.m. Aug. 19, with items without paying for them. Reported loss is $349.99.
  • An employee of a business in the 2300 block of Capitol Drive called police at 8:03 a.m. Sept. 10, to report that between 2:55 and 3 p.m. Sept. 9, someone stole multiple bottles of liquor from the store and fled the area. Reported loss is $500.

BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE

  • A Morton Grove resident called police at 7:08 p.m. Sept. 7, to report finding their vehicle’s rear passenger window smashed and contents missing from inside as the vehicle sat parked, unoccupied, in the 700 block of Zenith Drive. Reported loss is $1,950.
  • A Skokie resident reported at 3:38 p.m. Sept. 11, someone smashed the window on their vehicle and stole items from inside it while it was parked in the parking lot in the 1000 block of Zenith Drive. Reported loss is $5,000.
  • A Northbrook resident called police at 3:56 p.m. Sept. 11, to report someone stole a bag from their vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road. Reported loss is $125.

POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

Police located an iPhone, cannabis grinder and a small amount of cannabis at 7:38 p.m. Sept. 7, in the stairwell of a building in the 1600 block of Glenview Road while checking on a juvenile complaint.

THEFT

A Glenview resident reported at 8:03 p.m. Sept. 7, a cellular phone stolen from a bag as the bag sat on the floor next to the basketball courts at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road. Reported loss is $1,250.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

An employee at the Glenview Park District reported at 7:36 a.m. Sept. 8, damage to two bathrooms at Flick Park, 3600 Glenview Road. The damage included waste-basket bins pulled from the wall, clogged toilets, broken soap dispenser, and damaged toilet paper dispenser. Reported loss is $200.

SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE

  • A Chicago resident is accused of driving on a suspended license, speeding, and was charged at 7:04 p.m. Sept. 9, following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Shermer Road. They were released on bond with a court date set for the Skokie Courthouse.
  • An Aurora resident is accused of driving on a suspended license, loud muffler, and was charged at 2:17 p.m. Sept. 12, following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Patriot Boulevard. They were released on an I-bond with a court date set for Oct. 8.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

A resident in the 2200 block of Strawberry Lane reported at 5:40 p.m. Sept. 10, someone opened the front door of their residence and entered the home without permission. It is not known if anything was taken.

POSSESSION OF CANNABIS LESS THAN 10 GRAMS

A Des Plaines resident was issued a village ordinance citation for possession of cannabis at 12:22 a.m. Sept. 11, following an investigation in the 2600 block of West Lake Avenue.
