Home Development Planned to Replace Old Village Hall
The former Glenview Village Hall on Waukegan Road could be replaces by several single-family homes and row houses.

GLENVIEW, IL - The site of the former Glenview Village Hall on Waukegan Road was sold to a local home builder.
The village board of trustees voted unanimously to sell the property to The Drake Group, which plans an elaborate residential development, according to the Glenview Announcements.
The sale was for $2.6 million.

The Glenview-based home building and development company has a plan for 26 single-family homes. Included would be 13 row homes, four duplexes and nine small-lot single-family homes.
Construction on the site could begin as early as next September, according to a village planner.

Village Hall was relocated last December to 2500 East Lake Avenue near the police station.
