Illinois Shockwave 16U finishes in top 8 at ASA "B" Northern Nationals in Watertown, WI

Illinois Shockwave 16U ended their 2015/16 season on Saturday, July 30 at the ASA "B" Northern Nationals tournament in Watertown, Wisconsin, finishing in the top eight. The team won both their pool play games to garner #1 seed status in their pool and fought hard in bracket play, including an exciting come-from-behind win that earned them a spot in Saturday play with the top eight remaining teams. The best bracket game was against River City Rage, in which Shockwave was down 11-1 at one point, but came roaring back to score seven more runs against a team that ultimately came in 2nd place overall. The five days in Wisconsin were a fun cap off to a season that saw a great deal of improvement in every player.
