Lawsuit Claims Starbucks Cookie Broke Woman's Teeth
Cookie sold at Glenview Starbucks in 2012 was "beyond its sale date," lawsuit claims.

Some things are too hard to bite your teeth into. Count a cookie at Starbucks that was allegedly “beyond its sale date” as one of them.
That’s the claim made by Vaciliki Ress, who filed a lawsuit on December 3 in Cook County Circuit Court against Starbucks and two other defendants. According to the Cook County Record, the suit states the cookie was “so hard it caused her teeth to fracture and break upon biting it.”
Ress said in the suit she visited the Starbucks at 1401 Waukegan Road in Glenview on December 5, 2012 and ordered the cookie. But when taking a bite, it caused her teeth to brake.
