Lockers Cut, Wallets Taken At Willow Road Biz: Glenview Police Blotter
Five burglaries were reported on the same afternoon at the business, according to police.

Victoria Kosowski, 40, of the 2500 block of Happy Hollow Road, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, endangering the life of a child, and was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Jan. 11, following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Shermer Road. She was released on bond with a court date set for Feb. 3.

Gary Johnson, 27, of the 11800 block of S. Lowe Avenue, Chicago, had an active outstanding warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a parole violation, and was arrested at 11:37 a.m. Jan. 12, following a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was held pending pick up by IDOC.

INCIDENTS
SPEEDING
- A Northfield resident was cited at 9:44 p.m. Jan 11, for speeding (more than 35 mph over the speed limit), street racing, driving without headlights when required, following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Waukegan Road.
- A resident was cited at 9:41 a.m. Jan. 12, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit), following a traffic stop in the 2900 block of East Lake Avenue.
STOLEN VEHICLE
An Arlington Heights resident reported that during the overnight hours of Jan. 12, someone stole their vehicle, which was parked in the rear parking lot of a business in the 1800 block of Glenview Road. Chicago police recovered the stolen vehicle, parked unoccupied, in the 3100 block of S. Wells Street.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Mount Prospect resident was cited at 8:38 a.m. Jan. 12, for no driver's license, improper banking, expired registration, following a traffic stop in the 4700 block of West Lake Avenue.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
A Chicago resident was cited at 9:32 a.m. Jan. 12, for unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, expired registration, following a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE
A McHenry resident was cited at 8:36 p.m. Jan. 12, for having a suspended driver's license, uninsured motor vehicle, expired registration, following a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
BURGLARY
- A Northbrook resident reported that between 11:25 a.m. and 12:48 p.m. Jan. 13, someone cut the lock to a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road and stole currency from a wallet.
- A Northbrook resident called police to report that between 11:40 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Jan. 13, someone cut the lock to a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road and stole currency from a wallet.
- A Northbrook resident reported that between noon and 1 p.m. Jan. 13, someone cut the lock to a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road but did not take anything from inside the locker.
- A McHenry resident called police to report that between noon and 1 p.m. Jan. 13, someone cut the lock to a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road currency from a wallet.
- A Northbrook resident reported that between 12:30 p.m. and 12:59 p.m. Jan. 13, someone cut the lock to a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road and stole currency from a wallet.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 1700 block of Waukegan Road reported at 1:54 p.m. Jan. 14, two people stole portable jump starters and battery testers from the store. The offenders fled the area in an unknown direction.
BATTERY
Police responded to a business in the 4600 block of West Lake Avenue at 11:21 a.m. Jan. 15, for a report of a battery. Officers spoke with a Wheeling resident who said several unknown males approached them and started punching them.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident reported that between Jan. 14 and Jan. 16, someone stole the catalytic converter from under their vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot in the 600 block of Waukegan Road.
