Male Genitalia Spray-Painted On Pillar: Glenview Police Blotter
The incident was one of a number involving spray paint around the village.

Joseph Aragones, 33, of the 1800 block of Concord Drive, Arlington Heights, had a warrant for bond forfeiture stemming from a driving under the influence of alcohol arrest on March 2, 2021, and was arrested at 3:03 p.m. July 8, at Kane County Jail. He was taken to the Glenview police station for a bond hearing.

Pamela Moore, 57, of the 4300 block of West Lake Avenue, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper traffic lane usage, improper right turn at an intersection, and was arrested at 8:28 p.m. July 9, in the 2200 block of Sanders Road. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Aug. 15.
VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
Audrey Hanley, 59, of the 4200 block of Coral Berry, Gurnee, is accused of violation of an order of protection, and was arrested at 8:45 a.m. July 8, following the investigation of an incident that occurred on June 26. She was held for a bond hearing.

INCIDENTS
HARASSMENT BY ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION
A Glenview resident reported on July 4 someone sent them numerous text messages containing lewd comments.
CRIMINAL DEFACEMENT
- A Glenview resident called police at 1:49 p.m. July 5, to report someone used a black marker to write several disturbing messages in the 3600 block of Glenview Road.
- A Glenview resident reported that during the overnight hours of July 10, someone spray-painted the rear of their vehicle with blue paint while it was parked on the street in the 1300 block of Locust Lane.
- Police discovered at 10:24 a.m. July 10, someone used blue spray paint to deface numerous street signs in the area of Central Parkway and Waukegan Road.
- Police discovered at 11:28 a.m. July 10 someone used blue spray paint to draw male genitalia on a decorative pillar at the intersection of Central Parkway and Waukegan Road.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
- A resident in the 1400 block of Estate Lane reported that during the overnight hours of July 5, someone bent their aluminum flagpole on the front porch.
- A resident in the 800 block of Timberline Drive called police at 11:52 a.m. July 10, to report someone damaged the exterior cedar siding of their home with eggs and fireworks.
IDENTITY THEFT
- A Glenview resident called police on July 6 to report that on June 19, someone began forwarding the victim’s mail to an address in Covington, Georgia. There is no financial loss at this time.
- A Glenview resident reported at 4 p.m. July 6, someone made numerous fraudulent withdrawals from three of their bank accounts.
THEFT
- A Glenview resident reported that between July 4 and July 5, someone stole four-fold up chairs and two-fold up kid chairs from the sidewalk in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue.
- A Glenview resident called police on July 8 to report that on June 30, they old a dirt bike to two males after posting it on Facebook Marketplace. The males paid with a cashier’s check in the amount of $3,900. The victim was notified by their bank the check was fraudulent.
SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALLS
A Glenview resident called police at 2:14 p.m. July 7, to report they received a phone call from a subject identified as “George” from Capital One. They said “George” asked for personal identifying information, which they did not provide.
RETAIL THEFT
The manager of a business in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road reported at 12:34 p.m. July 9, while reviewing video surveillance, they saw a male and female enter the lot and take numerous items from in front and around the outside of the store and load them into their vehicle.
BURGLARY
An employee of a business in the 1700 block of Sunset Ridge called police to report that between July 8-9, someone entered the building and damaged various pieces of equipment and wrote graffiti in various places.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
A person reported that during the overnight hours of July 10, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
- A Glenview resident called police at 3:26 p.m. July 10, to report someone smashed the rear passenger side window on their vehicle and stole a bag containing gift cards and $150 in cash while it was parked at Community Park West, 1001 Zenith Drive.
- A Glenview resident reported at 3:12 p.m. July 10, someone smashed the rear driver’s side window on their vehicle and stole a green cooler bag, it was parked at Community Park West, 1001 Zenith Drive.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Glenview resident was cited at 7:24 p.m. July 10, for no valid driver's license, disobeying a traffic control device, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, following a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Patriot Boulevard. They were released on a $2,500 bond and were assigned a court date of Aug. 18.
FORGERY
A Glenview resident reported at 10:57 a.m. July 11, a fraudulent check for $5465.65 was cashed from their bank account. The check was made out to “Leland Parker."
