Niles Man With DUI Warrant Faces Fresh Felony DUI Charge: Blotter

THEFT
A resident in the 4500 block of Concord Lane reported at 11:55 a.m. on July 18 that someone had stolen checkbooks from inside their home.

CHILD ENDANGERMENT
A customer in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported at 11:27 a.m. on July 18 that someone had left two children unattended in a vehicle with the motor running.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY
An employee in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 2:10 p.m. on July 18 that a patient had hit them in the face.

IDENTITY THEFT
An Iroquois Drive resident reported at 8:55 p.m. on July 18 someone had fraudulently used their credit card number at a department store for a loss of $1,400.

THEFT OF LOST OR UNATTENDED ITEMS
A resident in the 800 block of Harlem Avenue reported at 10:45 p.m. on July 18 that someone stole a $900 cellular telephone that had been left in a taxi.

TRESPASSING

  • An employee in the 1300 block of Glenview Road reported at 10:41 p.m. on July 18 that someone was on the business' property without permission.
  • A resident in the 4100 block of Hampton Circle reported at 8:16 a.m. on July 19 that someone was on their property without permission.
  • A resident in the 2100 block of Hickory Court reported at 5:50 a.m. on July 20 that someone had been on the property without permission.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 2100 block of Hickory Court reported at 4:22 p.m. on July 19 that someone had caused $1,000 in damage by scratching a parked vehicle with a sharp object.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 4:39 p.m. on July 19 that someone stuffed clothes in a bag and ran out of the store without paying for a loss of $250.

BATTERY
A resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive reported at 11:07 p.m. on July 19 that someone scratched them without provocation.

TRAILER THEFT
An employee in the 1700 block of Chestnut Avenue reported at 3:08 p.m. on July 18 that a trailer worth $3,000 had been stolen from a parking lot.

PROPERTY SCAM
A resident in the 1300 block of Waukegan Road reported at 8:30 p.m. on July 20 that someone had accepted a fraudulent online payment of more than $5,000 for property.

IDENTITY THEFT
An employee in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 3:31 p.m. on July 20 that someone entered an unlocked office and stole a wallet for a loss of $125.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
An employee in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road reported at 7:50 a.m. on July 21 that someone broke a window to a business for a $450 loss.

WALLET THEFT
An employee in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 4:31 p.m. on July 21 that someone had entered an unlocked office and stole a wallet for a reported loss of $600.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
An employee in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a purchase of name brand products that turned out to be counterfeit at 6:55 p.m. on July 21 for a loss of $1,000.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 100 block of Elm Street reported at 3:06 a.m. on July 22 that someone broke a window on their house for a loss of $300.

COUPON THEFT
An employee in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 2:30 p.m. on July 22 that someone had stolen $1,700 using fraudulent vouchers.

TRESPASSING
An employee in the 1700 block of Grove Street reported at 12:38 p.m. on July 22 that someone had been on the property without permission.

MEAT THEFT
An employee in the 100 block of Waukegan Road reported at 1:36 p.m. on July 22 that someone had come into the store, stolen $135 worth of meat and left the store without paying for it.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 5:53 p.m. on July 22 that had walked out with $118 worth of merchandise after trying on clothes.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
An employee in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 11:44 p.m. on July 22 that they had gotten several unwanted telephone calls.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee in the 2700 block of Central Road reported at 6:36 that someone had used white chalk to write profanity on the wall of a business.

ATTEMPTED SCAM
A resident in the 2600 block of Summit Drive reported at 6:15 p.m. on July 23 that they had gotten a phone call from a man who said he was trying to help with bank accounts and attempted to get access to their funds.

CAR BURGLARY
A resident in the 3700 block of Lawson Road reported at 10:36 p.m. on July 23 that someone had gotten into an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway and rummaged through its contents, scattered them around the inside of the car.


ARRESTS

A 54-year-old Wood Dale man was arrested at 9:50 a.m. on July 13 and charged with driving with a suspended license after a crash investigation in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was also issued a citation for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Gerardo Solano-Vasquez, 24, of the 8900 block of North Wisner Street in Niles, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. on July 13 following a traffic stop in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue and charged with felony aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol – no driver's license. He had two warrants, one issued for a failure to appear in court in connection with a charge of driving under the influence from Park Ridge and another from a charge of driving with a revoked license in Wheeling. He also received new misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or above, no valid driver's license, driving on a revoked driver’s license and misdemeanor excessive speeding. He issued citations for not having insurance and improper lane usage.

A 19-year-old Mount Prospect woman was arrested at 11:33 p.m. on July 13 following a traffic stop in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue and charged with driving without a valid license. She was also cited for speeding 15 to 20 mph over the limit.

A 63-year-old Evanston woman was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on July 14 and charged with driving with a suspended license following and investigation into a crash in the 100 block of Waukegan Road.

Chuluun Banzragch, 46, of the 5200 block of Central Road in Glenview, of was arrested at his home on two outstanding warrants – a conditional release violation from Cook County and a DUI warrant from Lake County following an investigation in the 500 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

Ronald Bisanz, 61, of the 1700 block of McClean Court in Glenview, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. on July 19 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and operating a vehicle with a BAC of 0.08 or above after a traffic stop in the 200 block of Waukegan Road. He was also cited for improper lane usage.

Christian Torres, 22, of the 500 block of Wimbleton Drive in Prospect Heights, was arrested at 4:33 a.m. on July 19 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a crash investigation at West Lake Avenue and Wilson Lane. He was also cited for and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Megan Hendrix, 33, of the 1600 block of North Yale Court in Arlington Heights, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. on July 19 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, following a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Central Road. She was also issued citations for speeding and improper lane usage.

Daniel Delgado, 25, of the 4800 block of North Spaulding Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a traffic crash investigation in the 2300 block of Willow Road.

A 21-year-old Mount Prospect woman was arrested at 12:41 a.m. on July 21 and charged with driving without a valid license following an investigation into a traffic crash in the 200 block of Shermer Road. She was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Patricia Lombardo, 37, of the 1400 block of Maple Street in Glenview, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more after a traffic stop in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue. She was also issued a citation for improper lane usage.

Nicholas O’Brien, 22, of the 600 block of Longtree Drive in Wheeling, was charged with driving while his license was revoked after an investigation into a traffic crash at Willow Road and Pfingsten Road. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Jason Saccone, 23, of the 4400 block of North Kedzie Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC over 0.08 following a traffic stop in the 2200 block Greenfield Drive.
