Man Gets Belligerent On Train: Glenview Police Blotter
Police met with the conductor, who said the person was being loud and disruptive.

Nelly Salgado, 38, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested at 3:05 p.m. April 30, at the Glenview Police Department. The arrest stemmed from an investigation into a hit-and-run incident on March 29 in the 3500 block of Willow Road. She was released and assigned a court date of May 28.
AGGRAVATED CRIMINAL SEXUAL ABUSE

Douglas Nicholas, 53, of the 6600 block of State Road, Vienna, is accused of aggravated criminal sexual abuse with a victim under the age of 13, and was arrested at 9:30 a.m. April 28, at the Rolling Meadows courthouse. At the time of the report, Nichols was in custody with the Illinois Department of Corrections and will be held at the Cook County Jail.
FAILURE TO APPEAR
Konstantin Raskin, 37, of the 800 block of Cherry Valley Road, Vernon Hills, had two warrants out of DuPage County for failure to appear, and was arrested at 11:05 a.m. April 28, following a retail theft investigation in the 2200 block of Willow Road. He was released for the warrants, and additionally cited for retail theft and was given a trespass warning not to return to the store.

INCIDENTS
THEFT
A resident of the 2000 block of Linneman Street reported at 2:23 p.m. April 29, several fraudulent charges on their credit cards. All charges were reversed, and they were issued new cards. Additionally, they also received a package they did not order and returned it to USPS.
FRAUD
A resident of the 1100 block of Castilian Court reported at 5:25 p.m. April 29, they had posted a wheelchair for sale on OfferUp and received a check for $2,650 from an unknown male, who agreed to purchase the wheelchair for $1,600. The resident cashed the check and sent a $1,167.50 money order to the buyer for shipping fees. They later learned the check had bounced and were advised to return the money. The resident did not have additional information on the unknown person and have not shipped the wheelchair.
FORGERY
Employees of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road called police at 1:01 p.m. April 30, to report a man paid with a counterfeit $50 bill and was given $30 in change. The male is described as black, in his 20s, 5-foot-6, medium build, with a gray Nike hoodie and blue jeans.
RETAIL THEFT
Employees for a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported on April 30 that a retail theft had occurred four days prior. An unknown white male, wearing a black sweatshirt, white shorts, black shoes, 6-foot, 200 pounds, driving a blue four-door sedan, had concealed two bottles of alcohol in his sweatshirt and exited the store without paying for the merchandise. He returned to the store after putting the items in his vehicle, then concealed another bottle of alcohol and left without paying. Total loss for the three bottles of alcohol is $139.75.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
An employee for a business in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard reported that between Feb. 18 and Feb. 25, someone had rented a car and had not returned it. They tried several times to reach them, with negative results. Flock showed the vehicle 83 times over the last 30 days, driving near Elk Grove/Wood Dale. The truck was entered into LEADS as stolen.
CITIZEN ASSIST
An owner of a property in the 1300 block of Greenwillow Lane reported at 6:22 p.m. May 4, people from a neighboring building were illegally dumping garbage in the dumpster. Officers identified the person, a resident of the neighboring building, who admitted to the dumping and was given a verbal warning. They agreed not to use the dumpster in the future.
ASSIST OTHER AGENCY
Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Depot Street at 7:09 p.m. May 4, for an assist with another agency. A Chicago resident was reported to be screaming and belligerent on the train. Upon arrival, officers met with the conductor, who said the person was being loud and disruptive. The person walked off and was taken into custody by Metra Police.
