Man Steals Electronics, Returns To Steal More: Glenview Police Blotter
The man stole electronics from the same store on consecutive days, according to police.

Anthony Ron, 19, of the 10300 block of Michael Todd Terrace, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, disobeying a traffic control device, failing to yield while exiting a private drive, and was arrested at 8:56 p.m. Dec. 30 in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He posted a $1,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Feb. 3.

Nauman Waheed, 35, of the 9200 block of N. Willow Lane, Niles, is accused of criminal trespass, and was arrested at 2:54 p.m. Dec. 31, in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of Feb. 3.
IDENTITY THEFT
Florante J. Batucan, 83, of the 1700 block of Pickwick Lane, Glenview, is accused of aggravated identity theft after a report was filed on Dec. 9, and was arrested at 12:20 p.m. Dec. 28, at his home. He was taken to court for a bond hearing.
REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Miguel A. Mejia, 45, of the 5300 block of W. Barry Avenue, Chicago, is accused of having a revoked driver's license, no rear registration light, and was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Dec. 29, after a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Waukegan Road. Mejia was released on a $2,500 I-bond for the traffic offense with a return court date of Feb. 3. A delayed notification indicated Mejia had a valid extraditable DuPage County warrant and he was taken into custody. Mejia posted a $3,000 D-bond on the warrant and was released with a court date set for Feb. 3 in DuPage County Courthouse.
BATTERY
Kirby D. Graham, 29, of the 300 block of Stevens Court, Grayslake, had a warrant out of Skokie for battery, and was arrested at 10:20 a.m. Dec. 28, after a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Golf Road. He was taken to the Skokie Police Department.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
- Employees of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 3:21 p.m. Dec. 26, a man stole electronic items. At 1:27 p.m. Dec. 27, the same man came back and stole more electronic equipment. Total loss is $700.
- An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 11:49 a.m. Dec. 28, three males stole numerous articles of clothing.
BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE
- A resident in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police to report that during the overnight hours of Dec. 28, the catalytic convertor was stolen from their vehicle.
- A resident in the 3500 block of Carol Lane called police on Dec. 30 to report that during the overnight hours, someone stole a purse from their unlocked vehicle.
- A resident in the 4700 block of Locust Avenue called police at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 30, to report someone stole an electronic device from the truck of their unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours.
- A resident in the 4700 block of Lilac Avenue called police on Dec. 30 to report someone stole the garage door open from their unlocked vehicle sometime during the overnight hours.
- A resident in the 3500 block of Brett Lane reported on Dec. 30 that someone stole a garage door opener and mail from their unlocked vehicle sometime during the overnight hours.
- A Wheeling resident reported at 4:57 p.m. Dec. 30, someone stole a jacket and a garage door opener from their unlocked vehicle in the 3400 block of Maple Leaf Drive.
- A resident of the 3900 block of Gregory Drive called police at 5:13 p.m. Dec. 30, to report someone stole numerous items from their unlocked vehicle sometime during the overnight hours.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee of a business in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 9:13 a.m. Dec. 28, they were being threatened by another co-worker.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Glenview Road resident called police at 10:26 a.m. Dec. 28, to report their personal information was used without their authority to open an automobile loan.
AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT
A Waukegan Road resident reported at 1:38 p.m. Dec. 29, their personal information was used to open several credit cards without their authority.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A business owner in the 3000 block of North Lake Terrace reported at 1:41 p.m. Dec. 28, someone threw a bottle through the window of their business. The total loss was $600.
THEFT BY DECEPTION
A manager of a business in the 1700 block of Chestnut Avenue called police to report that someone purchased tires on Dec. 15 online with a credit card. The subject picked up the tires on Dec. 20. On Dec. 27, the manager learned the credit card used for the purchase had been reported stolen.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
A resident in the 3500 block of Maple Leaf Drive reported at 8:34 a.m. Dec. 30, someone stole their vehicle from the driveway of the residence sometime during the overnight hours.
DISPUTE
A South Barrington resident was given a trespass notice at 5:21 p.m. Dec. 31, from a business in the 3300 block of Glenview Road after the subject caused a disturbance inside the business.
THEFT
A resident in the 1300 block of Greenwill Lane reported at 8:12 p.m. Dec. 31, they had lost their cellphone.
ASSAULT
Two customers of a business were involved in a verbal argument at 8:49 p.m. Jan. 2, while at a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
SUSPENDED REGISTRATION
A Bensenville resident is accused of unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, suspended registration, no insurance, and was cited at 9:44 p.m. Jan. 2, after a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
