Mariano's Employee Fires Gun At Co-Worker: Glenview Police
The store was closed to the public at the time of the Friday night incident.

GLENVIEW, IL — An employee at a Mariano's fired a gun at a co-worker during a Friday night incident when the grocery store was closed to the public. According to police, the round fired did not hit the other employee at the 25 Waukegan Road location and there were no injuries.

The person that shot the gun was later found at their residence and was taken into custody without incident. The firearm was recovered at the home.

The incident occurred at around 10:20 p.m. when the business was closed and it is believed no customers were in the store at the time. A preliminary investigation revealed the employees got into an argument when the one co-worker displayed the firearm. After firing the gun, the employee left Mariano's in a car.
