GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. INCIDENTS
NEIGHBOR DISPUTE
A resident in the 400 block of 4th Street, Northfield, called police around 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22 to report an argument with a neighbor over parking.
THEFT
Three people in a van pulled up to the loading docks of a business in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road around 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and stole 50 plastic pallets worth more than $1,000.

WHEEL THEFT
A resident in the 4100 block of Cove Lane reported around 6:30 a.m. Oct. 25 that someone had stolen all four wheels from their car while it had been parked overnight for a loss exceeding $1,000
THEFT OF SERVICES
The manager of a salon in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road reported around 12:30 p.m. Oct. 25 that a customer left without paying for a $150 haircut and coloring the previous day.

SHOPLIFTING
A store manager in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported around 12:45 p.m. Oct. 25 that someone had stolen a $350 pair of shoes
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
The foreman of a construction site in the 600 block of Waukegan Road reported around 1 p.m. Oct. 28 that someone had stolen construction equipment from inside the building for an unspecified loss greater than $1,000.
CHECK FRAUD
- The owner of a business in the 1900 block of Pickwick Lane reported around 11:30 a.m. Oct. 23 that someone had stolen 10 to 15 of their company's checks, forging them to to change their amounts and payees for an unspecified loss greater than $1,000.
- The owner of a business in the 1800 block of Elmdale Avenue reported around 1:30 p.m. Oct. 28 that someone had stolen and altered several checks from their business for an unspecified loss greater than $1,000.
- A Greenwood Road resident reported at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 28 that someone had forged a check on their bank account for an unspecified loss greater than $1,000.
IDENTITY THEFTS
- An Edgewood Lane resident reported on the evening of Oct. 22 that someone had claimed $60 in unemployment benefits using their identity.
- A Juniper Road resident reported around 3 p.m. Oct. 23 that someone had tried to log into two of their bank accounts using their personal information. The attempts were blocked and there was no loss.
- A Pleasant Lane resident reported on the morning of Oct. 25 that someone had tried to open several bank accounts with their personal information. The total loss was unknown.
- A Commons Drive resident reported on the morning of Oct. 25 that someone had twice used their credit card at a Glenview gas station.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
- A resident in the 2700 block of Langley Circle reported around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22 that someone caused $300 in damage to their wooden fence.
- The manager of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 25 that someone had shattered a window at their business, causing $2,000 worth of damage. Police were unsure how the window had been broken.
SMASH-AND-GRAB CAR BURGLARIES
- Someone broke windows on three cars parked in the 1800 block of Wagner Road prior to 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 22, stealing a purse that had been left on the front floor board of one of them and the passenger seat of another. Nothing was reported stolen from the third car.
- A patron of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Road reported around 8 p.m. Oct. 23 that someone had shattered their passenger side window and stolen a purse for a loss of more than $1,000.
- Someone broke a passenger side window of a car parked in the 1000 block of Zenith Drive and stole a purse from inside prior to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 for a reported loss of $625.
- Someone broke a passenger side window of a car parked in the 1500 block of Wagner Road prior to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 and stole a black bag for an estimated loss of more than $1,000.
- Someone broke a passenger side window of a car parked in the 800 block of Shermer Road and stole cell phone worth $700 prior to 3:40 p.m. Oct. 26.
UNLOCKED CAR BURGLARIES
- Someone stole a tablet and a smart phone worth $600 from an car left unlocked in the 1300 block of Tinker Way prior to 3:35 p.m. Oct. 23.
- Someone stole a purse and sunglasses valued at $500 from instead an unlocked car parked in the 1000 block of Zenith Drive at some point on Oct. 26.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Robert Bell, 44, of the 10000 block of Linda Lane, Des Plaines, was taken into Glenview police custody shortly before 5 p.m. from the Cook County Sheriff's Police Department at 1401 Maybrook Drive, Maywood, in connection with a charge of aggravated robbery. Police said he jumped over the counter of the Motel 6, 1535 Milwaukee Ave., at 2:11 a.m. Oct. 19 and stole cash from the register. He was also charged by sheriff's police in connection with an earlier armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in unincorporated Glenview. No further information was immediately available from either police department.
Charles Dodge, 54, of the 21100 block of North Prestwick Drive, Barrington, was arrested around 10 a.m. Oct. 24 at the Glenview Police Department and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to give information in connection with an investigation into a traffic crash that took place about 24 hours earlier in the 2300 block of Willow Road. Police also issued him an improper lane usage citation.
Bayartsetsey Gansukh, 39, of the 3200 block of Sanders Road, Northbrook, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road. She was also issued citations for improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device.
A 56-year-old Northfield woman was issued a citation for a violation of the village's ordinance prohibiting retail theft around 5 p.m. Oct. 26 after police said she stole $146.26 worth of items from an unspecified business in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
Chicago residents Fred Foreman, 34, of the 2700 block of 93rd Street, Tayah Washington, 19, of the 8700 block of South Burley Avenue, and Makayla Mariah Harris, 19, of the 700 block of 705 43rd Street, Chicago, were arrested after they were pulled over for unspecified reasons in the area of East Lake Avenue and Sunset Ridge Road. Foreman was charged with possession of stolen property, while Washington and Harris face retail theft charges. No further information was immediately available from police about the incident.
A 50-year-old Chicago woman was issued a local ordinance retail theft citation around 1 p.m. Oct. 28 after she tried to leave an unspecified business in the 100 block of Waukegan Road without paying for $121.71 worth of items.
