Mr. Peanut Will Be At Glenview Summer Festival
The world-famous mascot will meet and greet families at the 42nd annual festival.

Mr. Peanut, the well-known advertising logo and mascot of Planters, will make an appearance at Glenview Summer Festival scheduled for Saturday, June 27 along Jackman Park. He will come fully chauffeured in the Peanut Mobile.
“A major celebrity since 1916, Mr. Peanut is planning to meet, greet and be available for selfies too,” according to a Glenview Chamber of Commerce news release. “He joins a crowd of much-loved entertainers and icons, including Jason the Stiltwalker, Skittles the Clown, a slew of Glenview firefighters with their fire pole, members of the American Legion, performers from all around town, and The Bear (which stands at the south entrance of the fair)..”
The festival will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Lehigh Avenue between Glenview Road and Washington Street. Other activities include handcrafted wares, family activities, free treats, street performers and an Auto Show.
