Multiple Houses Egged On Same Night: Glenview Police Blotter

A member of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 3:03 p.m. Nov. 15, a customer threatened employees over a telephone call. Officers spoke with the customer and gave them trespass notice to the business at the request of employees.

FORGERY

A Pendleton Lane resident reported at 1:42 p.m. Nov. 16, a check mailed at the Glenview U.S. Post Office was intercepted in the mail and cashed for the same amount to a different person.

SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE

A Northfield resident was cited at 10:02 p.m. Nov. 16, for suspended driver's license, expired registration, following a traffic stop at Waukegan Road and Dewes Street.

BURGLARY TO VEHICLE

A Wheeling resident reported that between Nov. 16 and Nov. 17, someone shattered a window on one of their vehicles and stole several power tools, while the vehicle was parked in a parking lot in the 4300 block of Regency Drive.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • A resident in the 1200 block of Spruce Drive called police on Nov. 18 to report that between 12:40 a.m. and 1 a.m., someone egged their residence and vehicles, causing damage to both.
  • A resident called police on Nov. 18 to report that at 11:30 p.m. the previous night, someone threw eggs and food items on their vehicle, which was parked in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. The vehicle owner washed away the food items and realized the paint was damaged.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 5:42 p.m. Nov. 18, two unknown people stole clothing from the store. When employees approached the offenders outside the store, the offenders dropped the items and fled the area on foot.
