North Shore Senior Center Celebrates Super Seniors!

Celebrating the many contributions of older adult volunteers in our community

Every day, older adults devote countless hours of their time as volunteers to nonprofit organizations across the county. They may assist with administrative tasks, greet customers, plant flowers, drive people, serve in leadership roles, mentor children, and serve in myriad other ways. It is difficult to quantify the impact of these efforts on our society.

These older adults take on very special roles as role models. Their caring deeds, expertise, and community involvement signify their commitment to their fellow citizens and to the areas in which they live. These seniors are a shining example of how the individual, in any number of ways, can contribute to the betterment of society.

Each year, North Shore Senior Center honors these older adults and their volunteer service at our annual Super Senior Day celebration. On Thursday, May 26, over 30 volunteers from organizations throughout the northern suburbs will be recognized and celebrated at a luncheon and awards ceremony in their honor.

Below is a list of this year’s Super Seniors and the organizations they serve. North Shore Senior Center in congratulates these Super Seniors and thanks them for their remarkable contributions to our communities. Please join us in congratulating these Super Seniors!
