North Suburban YMCA Offers Engaging, Active Spring Break Camps for All Ages

Spring Break Camp March 23-27, families can choose from preschool, gymnastics, full-day Y-Camp, art, and creative crafting programs.

Northbrook, IL – March 2026 – The North Suburban YMCA is helping families make the most of spring break with a variety of engaging, active, and creative camps for children ages 3 through 14.

Running March 23–27, Spring Break at the Y offers flexible options designed to keep young people learning, moving, and connecting in a safe and supportive environment. CLICK HERE for all programs and registration.

Spring Break Camp Offerings

Spring Break Preschool Camp (Ages 3–5)
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Young children will enjoy gym games, crafts, snack time, stories, and hands-on activities designed to support social development and active play.
$150 Members | $200 Non-Members

Spring Break Art Camp (Ages 3–6)
Monday–Thursday | 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
Young artists will explore painting, drawing, and mixed media while building creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence. Children complete a special artwork each day to bring home.
Single Day: $60 Members | $85 Non-Members
All 4 Days: $200 Members | $250 Non-Members
Minimum of three participants per day required.

Spring Break Y-Camp (Grades K–5)
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
This full-day camp experience includes scheduled field trips, arts and crafts, gym games, large group activities focused on teamwork and social development, and supervised swim time when available. Designed to keep children engaged throughout the day, Y-Camp supports families with a structured and enriching option during school break.
Field trip itinerary includes:

·Tuesday 3/24 – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – Children’s Marriott

·Wednesday 3/25 – Brookfield Zoo

·Thursday 3/26 – Kids Empire

·Friday 3/27 – Action Territory

Spring Break Gymnastics Camp (Ages 6–14)
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Participants will build strength, coordination, and confidence through structured gymnastics instruction, skill development, and high-energy games in the Y’s gymnastics facility. Daily registration options are available.
$185 Members | $235 Non-Members

Craft-tastic! Spring Break Camp (Grades 2–6)
Monday–Thursday | 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
With the theme “Spring Into Crafting!” campers will design and create projects such as embroidery, tie-dye, recycled art, and more alongside Ms. Alex. Each day features hands-on projects participants can proudly bring home.
Single Day: $60 Members | $85 Non-Members
All 4 Days: $230 Members | $280 Non-Members
Minimum of three participants per day required.
