A Des Plaines resident reported at 9:01 p.m. Nov. 29, someone shattered the rear window on their vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot in the 2200 block of Golf Road.
ORDINANCE VIOLATION

An Evanston resident was cited at 6:52 a.m. Nov. 30, for dog running at large after police captured their dog running in the 1200 block of Harms Road.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 3:02 p.m. Nov. 30, to report a male and female left the store with electronics without paying for the items. The subjects entered a blue vehicle and left the area.
IDENTITY THEFT
- An Iroquois Drive resident reported at 9:10 a.m. Dec. 1, someone used their personal identifying information to open a bank account.
- An Ivy Lane resident called police at 3:03 p.m. Dec. 2, to report someone attempted to gain access to their bank account.
THEFT
- A Highland Park resident called police at 2:33 p.m. Dec. 1, to report having their wallet stolen from a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road. Their credit cards were subsequently attempted to be used at a store in Skokie, but the purchases were declined.
- A resident in the 2200 bloc of Dewes Street called police at 2:03 p.m. Dec. 2, to report arranging through Facebook Marketplace to purchase an electronic item. The complainant submitted an electronic down payment, but never received the product.
- A Buffalo Grove resident reported at 5:17 p.m. Dec. 2, their purse was stolen while they shopped at a business in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard.
FORGERY
A Greenbriar Drive resident reported at 10:02 a.m. Dec. 4, having a check mailed through the U.S. Post Office was intercepted in the mail and cashed to a different person for a different amount.
