• Glenview To Consider Expanding Drone First Responder Program To 4 Agencies (patch.com) — Glenview officials are weighing agreements to extend the village's new Drone as a First Responder program from its public safety dispatch center to four neighboring agencies, sharing future costs and liability. The system would let Glenview dispatchers launch drones within minutes of 911 calls to assess emergencies, including burglaries, fires, and tollway incidents, before police, fire, or paramedics arrive.
   

• Illinois Tool Works (insidephilanthropy.com) — A major Glenview-based employer, Illinois Tool Works, has shifted its giving from a traditional foundation to corporate and employee-driven philanthropy, while still donating over $20 million annually.
