Police Arrest Wilmette Driver on DUI Charges

DUI
Vladmir Bekerman, 62, of the 400 block of Beverly Drive, Wilmette, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and improper lane use after a May 1 traffic stop in the 1100 block of Waukegan Road.

Irene Aronov-Bekerman, 52, of the 400 block of Beverly Drive, Wilmette, was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer in the 1100 block of Glenview Road.
She was released on $1,000 bail, and her court date is May 26.
