Police Blotter: Retail Theft, DUI, Warrant Arrest

Retail Theft

Sept. 16 at 8:10 p.m.
Officers arrested Jessica D. Ragsdale, 22, for retail theft after loss prevention agents for Von Maur, 1960 Tower Drive, caught her stealing $60.00 worth of merchandise.  Ragsdale was released on $1500.00 D bond and is set to appear in court on Oct. 20.  

Sept. 18 at 12:29 p.m.
Ralph Bershadsky, 32, was arrested for retail theft after Costco loss prevention agents at 2900 Patriot Boulevard observed him switching price tags on merchandise.  Bershadsky was released on $1000.00 D bond and has a court date on Nov. 4.

Driving under the Influence of Alcohol

Sept. 16 at 11:26 p.m.
Officers arrested Rina Timatyos, 19, for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or more, improper parking, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driver's license not on person after a traffic stop in the 2600 block of East Lake Avenue. Timatyos was released on $3000.00 D bond and has a court date of Oct. 25.

Sept. 19 at 1:29 a.m.
Richard Hagedorn, 40, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding after a traffic stop on Glenview Rd. at Crystal Ct.  Hagedorn was released on $3,000.00 D bond and is set to appear in court on Nov. 4.

Warrant Arrest

Sept. 17 at 3:45 a.m.
Officers arrested Cruz Garcia-Castro, 23, at his residence on West Lake Ave. on a Cook County arrest warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Garcia-Castro was released after posting $10,000.00 D bond. He has a court date of Sept. 22.

Driving With Suspended License

Sept. 17 at 5:35 a.m.
John K. Bias, 35, was arrest by officers for driving while license suspended and speeding after a traffic stop in the 1000 block of East Lake Ave. Bias was released on $1500.00 D bond and has a court date  of Nov. 4.

Sept. 17 at 8:46 p.m.
Officers arrested Hormis S. Korkis, 26, for driving while license suspended and improper lighting after a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Milwaukee Ave.  Korkis was released on $1500.00 D bond and will appear in court date Nov. 4.

No Valid Driver's License

Sept. 17 at 5:45 p.m.
Reyna Ramirez, 43, was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license and improper lane use after officers investigated a traffic crash at Park Ln. and Shermer Rd. Ramirez was released on $1500.00 D bond and is set to appear in court on Oct. 5.

Sept. 17 at 10:38 p.m.
Officers arrested Pavlina Stara, 24, for driving without a valid driver's license and disobeying a red light after a traffic stop at Patriot Blvd. and Willow Rd.  Stara was released on $1500.00 D bond and has a court date of Oct. 21.
