Sex Abuse Of Children Case: Glenview Man Receives 2 New Charges
Bruce Claver, 57, is accused of felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse and predatory criminal sexual assault of at least 5 minors.

GLENVIEW, IL — A Glenview man, arrested last month in connection with felony sexual abuse charges involving three children, was arrested again Friday on additional charges involving two new complaints from separate minor children. Bruce Claver, 57, of the 3000 block of Knollwood Lane, Glenview, is accused of felony predatory criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse following an investigation into a complaint made on Jan. 12, according to Glenview police.
Police said a continued investigation of these incidents revealed two additional complaints involving separate minor children. Claver was in bond court Friday on the new charges.

Last month, Glenview police said an investigation began Dec. 24, 2021, following an initial complaint from a parent that their two minor children were abused over a multi-year time frame. During the investigation, detectives learned of a separate complaint involving another minor child.
There is no familial relationship between Claver and the minor children, according to police.

Detectives conducted this investigation with the assistance from the Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County, the Department of Child and Family Services, and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
