Stolen Car Tracked Twice In Chicago Not Found: Glenview Police Blotter
A Kenilworth resident reported their vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in the 2900 block of West Lake Avenue.

- Elizabeth Becker, 52, of the 4500 block of Lilac Avenue, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper traffic lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving under the influence of a combination of drugs, and was arrested at 1:11 p.m. April 14, in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue. She was released on bond.
- Olha Belesku, 43, of the 900 block of Revere Road, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 3:30 p.m. April 12, following a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard. She was released on bond.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
- Cruz Garcia-Castro, 35, of the 1000 block of 10th Street, Northfield, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 2:56 a.m. April 15. He was held for a bond hearing.
- Jesus Vazquez, 31, of the 5200 block of W. Barry Avenue, Chicago, is accused of domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, aggravated assault criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 3:15 a.m. April 16, following the investigation of an incident in the 1700 block of Greenwood Road. He will attend a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.
RETAIL THEFT

Crishon Greenwood, 25, of the 400 block of N. Central Avenue, Chicago, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 12:30 p.m. April 12, at the Cook County Jail. The charge followed an investigation into an incident on Dec. 20, 2022, in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard. He was released to the custody of the Cook County Department of Corrections.
VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
Samuel Bova, 37, of the 4500 block of Lilac Avenue, Glenview is accused of violation of an order of protection, domestic battery, and was arrested at 2:03 p.m. April 11, following the investigation of an incident in the 1500 block of Executive Lane. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.

INCIDENTS
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A Skokie resident reported that between April 6 and April 7, someone stole the catalytic converter from under their vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road.
SPEEDING
- A Chicago resident was cited at 12:03 p.m. April 12, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit) following a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Sanders Road.
- A Glenview resident was cited at 7:15 p.m. April 13, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit) following a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Sanders Road.
STOLEN VEHICLE
- A Kenilworth resident reported at 6:11 p.m. April 13, their vehicle stolen from a parking lot in the 2900 block of West Lake Avenue. The vehicle owner believes the keys were left in the vehicle when it was stolen. At 8:30 p.m., the vehicle's Uconnect system tracked to the 4200 block of South Morgan Street, Chicago. At 12:55 a.m. April 14, the car tracked to the 4200 block of West 167th Street, Country Club Hills. Neither police departments were able to locate the stolen vehicle.
- A resident in the 2100 block of Rugen Road called police to report someone stole their vehicle while it was parked in their residential parking lot between 2:30 p.m. April 13 and 9 a.m. April 15. The vehicle was unlocked, and the keys left inside.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Monterey Drive resident called police at 10:08 a.m. April 14, to report offenders accessed their American Airlines account and used reward miles to book a flight.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
- Landscapers working in the 3300 block of Springdale Avenue called police April 14, to report someone entered their unlocked work truck sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and stole personal items.
- A Palatine resident reported at 1:02 p.m. April 14, someone entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road and stole a wallet.
FRAUD
A Skokie resident called police at 7:45 p.m. April 14, to report their stolen credit card was used at a business in the 0-100 block of Waukegan Road.
BURGLARY
- A resident called police at 12:04 p.m. April 15 to report someone cut the lock off a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road and removed cash from a wallet.
- A resident reported at 3:12 p.m. April 15, someone cut the lock off a locker at a business in the 3800 block of Willow Road and removed cash from a wallet.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road called police at 8:49 p.m. April 17, to report a male with a dark beard, wearing a red jacket and dark pants, filled shopping baskets with items from the store and left the store without paying for any of the items.
