Student Threatens GBS In 'Suspicious' Social Media Post: Glenview PD
Glenview police responded to the post Thursday morning and continue to investigate.
GLENVIEW, IL — A student made what authorities are calling a "suspicious" social media post Thursday morning involving a threat to Glenbrook South High School. According to police, within 15 minutes of the being notified at 9:46 a.m., the Glenview Police Department and GBS administration identified the student.
Police said the situation was resolved without incident and there is no known threat at this time. The matter continues to be investigated by police.
"We would like to reinforce the important message: SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING," police said in a news release.
