Teen Charged in Glenbrook South Threat That Forced School Lockdown
The 18-year-old is accused of threatening a student in the school parking lot on Wednesday.

GLENVIEW, IL — Police in Glenview charged an 18-year-old man with disorderly conduct Wednesday after a report of someone threatening a student in the parking lot of the Glenbrook South Off-Campus High School.
Daniel Shatkovskiy, 18, of the 4200 block of Linden Tree Lane in Glenview was found by police in a residential neighborhood near the school on Landwehr Road after the incident. Police say he matched the description of the offender.
Police were notified of the incident, which resulted in a lock-down at both Glenbrook South and Winkelman School at 3:29 p.m. A student told a staff member they were threatened by the man, who implied possessing a weapon and left on foot.

While finding Shatkovskiy in the area, officers did not locate a weapon.

Shatkovskiy posted a $75 cash bond and has been released.
