Thief Steals 2 Golf Carts At Club: Glenview Police Blotter
The incident occurred at the Glenview Park Golf Club, according to police.

Seung Han, 37, of the 1100 block of Middlebury Lane, Wheeling, is accused of battery after an incident at a business in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue, and was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Sept. 30. Han was processed and released with a court date.

Mohmed Patel, 23, of the 6100 block of N. Kimball Avenue, Chicago, is accused of aggravated fleeing and eluding, speeding, (35+ mph over the speed limit), street racing, reckless driving, driving without lights when required, and was arrested at 7:52 p.m. Sept. 26, following an investigation into an incident on Sept. 9 at Willow and Shermer roads. He was released with a court date.

INCIDENTS
TRESPASSING
- An employee of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at noon Sept. 27, an Orland Park resident was soliciting on their property without their permission. Officers gave the solicitor a trespass warning to the property at the request of employees.
- An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road called police at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 27, to report an Orland Park resident was soliciting on their property without their permission. Officers gave the solicitor a trespass warning to the property at the request of employees.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1100 block of Longmeadow Drive reported that between 10:15 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 27, someone entered their home through a rear window and stole cash and personal items.
BURGLARY
An employee at the Glenview Park Golf Club, 800 Shermer Road, reported that during the overnight hours of Sept. 28, someone entered the basement garage door of the clubhouse and stole two golf carts.
IDENTITY THEFT
- A Henley Street resident called police at 7:53 a.m. Sept. 28, to report someone used their identifying information to open three credit card accounts.
- A resident in the 2500 block of Lawson Glen reported at 4:38 p.m. Sept. 29, receiving multiple notices from an industrial supply company concerning orders for tools. An unknown person used their name and address to order the tools.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive called police at 4:57 p.m. Sept. 28, to report three males, aged between 20 and 29, entered the store and took items from the store without making payment.
FORGERY
A Larkdale Drive resident reported that on Sept. 16, they mailed three checks from the Glenview Post Office, 1400 Patriot Boulevard. The payee’s names and amounts were changed on the checks.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A Park Ridge resident reported that at sometime between 9 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. Oct. 1, someone shattered the window on their vehicle and stole a purse from inside the car, while the car was parked at Community Park West, 1001 Zenith Drive.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Police responded to an alarm at 11:51 a.m. Oct. 1 at Glen Grove School, 3900 Glenview Road, and found a shattered rear window.
