Traffic Dispute Leads To Pushing Incident: Glenview Police Blotter
A Winnetka resident claims they were pushed by a resident of Glenview during the dispute, according to police.

Tatiana Hamilton, 28, of the 6200 block of N. Talman Avenue, Chicago, is accused of forgery, and was arrested at 9:41 a.m. Aug. 31, at the Glenview Police Department following the investigation of a May 26 incident in the 3700 block of Glenview Road. She was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.

Alexander Lee, 31, of the 2100 block of Clover Road, Northbrook, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, and was arrested at 2:58 a.m. Sept. 1, following the investigation of a traffic crash in the 2700 block of Central Road. He was released on bond.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee of a business in the 3700 block of Willow Road reported at 10:24 a.m. Aug. 29, a male and female subject left the store with products without paying for them.
- An employee of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 5:44 p.m. Aug. 30, a customer left the store with items they did not pay for.
- An employee of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 6:29 p.m. Sept. 2, to report two males filled a shopping cart with alcoholic beverages and approached the north exit doors, past the last point of purchase without paying for the items. Employees were standing by the exit doors and the males abandoned the shopping cart inside the store. The males fled the area.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
- A Wilmette resident was cited at 1:08 p.m. Aug. 29, for a suspended driver's license, following a traffic stop in the 3600 block of East Lake Avenue.
- A Waterview Drive resident was cited at 7:47 p.m. Aug. 30, for suspended driver's license, possession of a suspended driver's license, suspended registration, following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
FORGERY
A resident in the 1000 block of Lindenleaf Drive reported at 2:59 p.m. Aug. 30, someone forged a check placed in the mail and cashed it.
SPEEDING
- A Wilmette resident was charged at 8:51 p.m. Aug. 30, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit) following a traffic stop in the 1400 block of East Lake Avenue.
- A resident was cited at 2:05 p.m. Aug. 31, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit) following a traffic stop in the 3400 block of East Lake Avenue.
- A resident was cited at 6:06 p.m. Aug. 31, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit) following a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Sanders Road.
- A Prospect Heights resident was cited at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 4, for speeding (35+ over the speed limit), following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of East Lake Avenue.
- A resident was cited at 9:42 p.m. Sept. 4, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit) following a traffic stop in the 2600 block of East Lake Avenue.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 2800 block of Covert Road called police at 7:16 p.m. Aug. 30, to report someone smashed rear glass to residence, entered their home and stole items.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Bennington Court resident reported at 7:36 p.m. Aug. 30, being notified by an out-of-state police department that a person arrested possessed their social security number.
BATTERY
A Winnetka resident reported at 8:43 p.m. Aug. 30, being pushed by a Glenview resident in a parking lot in the 1500 block of East Lake Avenue after a traffic dispute.
THEFT
A Northbrook resident reported at 7:39 p.m. Aug. 31, a male and female asked them for directions and stole their watch while parked in a parking lot in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
TRESPASSING
- An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 2:37 p.m. Aug. 31, two female patrons refused to leave. Officers gave them trespass notice to the business at the request of employees.
- An employee of a business in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 3:13 p.m. Aug. 31, to report a belligerent customer. Officers spoke with the customer and gave them trespass notice to the property at the request of employees.
THEFT OF LOST PROPERTY
- A resident in the 1500 block of Meadow Lane reported at 10:26 a.m. Sept. 1, someone stole their watch after they lost it.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Glenview Road reported at 10:42 a.m. Sept. 1, a previously trespassed customer came to the business. Officers located the customer and escorted them out.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A Schaumburg resident called police at 4:25 p.m. Sept. 1, to report someone broke the window of their vehicle, while it was parked in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road and stole personal items.
STOLEN VEHICLE
A resident in the 4500 block of Lilac Avenue called police to report that between Aug. 31 and Sept. 3, someone stole their parked car, with the key fob inside it, from their driveway.
BURGLARY
A resident in the 4600 block of Larch Avenue reported that at 4:10 a.m. Sept. 3, someone entered their unlocked detached garage and stole tools.
