Unlocked Car With Keys Inside Stolen From Driveway: Cops

Leaving the Scene of an Accident
On Oct. 5 at 5:20 p.m., Kaushik Guha, 35, Des Plaines was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident after a crash investigation in the 2000 block of East Lake Avenue.

Warrant Arrest
On Oct. 8 at 8:27 p.m., Simonne Suleiman, 30, Northbrook was arrested in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue on an outstanding arrest warrant on an Illinois State Police charge of Aggravated Speeding.

Retail Theft
On Oct. 9 at 1:58 p.m., Dannita P. Bentley, 51, Schaumburg was arrested in the 2200 block of Willow Road and charged with Retail Theft.

Burglary
On Oct. 4 at 12:10 p.m., a vehicle window was smashed and a purse was taken from the passenger-side floorboard while parked on the 1800 block of Wagner Road between 9:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. The reported loss is $500.00.

Burglary
On Oct. 4 at 7:09 p.m., a vehicle window was smashed and a purse was taken from the passenger-side floorboard while parked in the 3600 block of Glenview Road between6:09 p.m. and 7:09 p.m. The reported loss is $1,150.

Burglary
On Oct. 5 at 10:57 a.m., a homeowner in the 1000 block of Hunter Lane reported a black duffle bag was taken from their car parked on her driveway. The reported loss is $1,845.

Burglary
On Oct. 6 at 5:40 p.m., a car window was shattered and a purse was taken from inside while parked in the 2400 block of Patriot Boulevard. The reported loss is $650.

Theft
On Oct. 6 at 9:32 p.m., someone stole a cellphone and cash from a gym bag while the victim was showering in the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue. He left the gym bag unsecured in the locker room. The reported loss is $336.

Residential Burglary
On Oct. 7 between 7:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., unknown offenders entered an unlocked home in the 100 block of Washington Street and stole a mason jar full of coins, coins from an adjacent vase, and a Bose Bluetooth stereo speaker from near the front door; loss estimated at $560.

Vehicle Theft
Between 11:53 p.m. on Oct. 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 8, an offender stole a vehicle valued at $5,000, from the driveway in the 3800 block of Rugen Road. The keys were left in the cup holder of the unlocked car.

Retail Theft
On Oct. 16 at 1:42 p.m., Bryce Clarenson, 25, Bloomington was arrested in the 1900 block of Tower Drive and charged with Retail Theft.

Criminal Damage to Property
On Oct. 17 at 2:28 a.m., Jennifer Lagioia, 33, Des Plaines was arrested in the 2000 block of John’s Drive and charged with Criminal Damage to Property.

Criminal Defacement
On Oct. 12 at 1:07 p.m., graffiti was spray painted on a piece of property in the 900 block of Shermer Road. The graffiti consisted of squiggly lines along with vulgar language.

Theft
On Oct. 16 at 6:38 p.m., a Trump political support yard sign was reported stolen between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the 300 block of 3rd Street. Loss of $20.
