1 Dead In Motorcycle Crash In Old Mill Creek
The 63-year-old Gurnee man was thrown from his motorcycle after going off the roadway Saturday night, police said.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — A 63-year-old Gurnee man is dead following a collision in Old Mill Creek Saturday night. A preliminary investigation into the crash shows the man was driving a 2014 Harley-Davidson south on Hunt Club Road near Millburn Road when the motorcycle left the roadway, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
The man, whose identity is not yet being released, was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the news release.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday with the Lake County Coroner's Office. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
