ROUND LAKE PARK, IL – A 65-year-old Round Lake Beach man who died Sunday night following a three-car crash on Hainesville Road in Round Lake Park has been identified. The Lake County Coroner's Office identified the man as Walter Bajorek of Round Lake Beach. The collision, which included an entrapment, occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Hainesville Road near Maple Avenue.
The impact from the accident forced two cars to go off the road – a third vehicle sustained only minor damage, the Daily Herald reports. Bajorek and two other people were taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center where Bajorek was later pronounced dead, the Lake County News-Sun reports.
Bajorek died from multiple traumatic injuries sustained in the crash, Lake County Coroner Howard Cooper said.
