2 Seriously Injured in Three-Car Crash in Ingleside
The crash happened Wednesday morning on Big Hollow Road in Ingleside.

INGLESIDE, IL - Two drivers were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Ingleside.
The crash happened at about 6:24 a.m. when a 2012 Chevrolet Impala was traveling west on Big Hollow Road just east of Park Drive and, for an unknown reason, drove off the south side of the roadway, according to a Lake County Sheriff’s Office press release.
The Chevrolet Impala, which was driven by a 50-year-old Wauconda man, then returned to its lane of traffic and struck an eastbound 2001 Dodge Neon, which was driven by a 31-year-old Round Lake Park man. An eastbound Nissan Sentra, driven by a 28-year-old Wonder Lake man, was also struck, police said.

The driver of the Chevrolet and the driver of the Dodge Neon were taken to Centegra Medical Center in McHenry with serious injuries but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
