GURNEE, IL — Families with young kids can score a season of free fun at Six Flags Great America as the park rolls out a limited-time Pre-K Pass offer just as opening weekend kicks off.

Children ages 3 to 5 years old are eligible for the free pass, which includes unlimited visits throughout the 2026 season at more than 20 parks nationwide, including the Gurnee theme park. The promotion is available to register through May 31 and must be activated in person at the park with proof of age.

“At a time when families are watching their budgets very closely, the Pre‑K Pass provides real value while helping create a season full of fun experiences kids and parents will remember for years,” said Christian Dieckmann, Chief Commercial Officer for Six Flags, in a statement.

The offer comes as Six Flags Great America opens for the season on April 25.

To qualify, families must have a valid 2026 season pass or membership. Each passholder can register up to two Pre-K passes, allowing younger children to enter the park for free all season long, according to a news release from Six Flags.

The theme park will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
