• Blind Man's Bait-And-Switch Suit Moves Forward Against Grayslake Dealership (patch.com) — Grayslake readers may want to follow a lawsuit against City Chevrolet of Grayslake, where a legally blind North Chicago man alleges he was overcharged for a 2023 Traverse and misled on financing terms. A Lake County judge has refused to send the dispute to arbitration, allowing the case seeking more than $50,000 in damages to proceed in court next month.
   

• CCSD 46 announces districtwide Dine & Share fundraiser for Early Childhood Center (lakecountygazette.com) — Grayslake School District 46 families and neighbors are invited to a Dine & Share fundraiser supporting the Early Childhood Center on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 4–8 p.m. at Pizza Ranch in Round Lake Beach. Ten percent of qualifying sales, all cash tips, and coupon book purchases will help fund services for the district's youngest learners across Grayslake schools.
