Six Student Designed Murals Are Unveiled at Grayslake Central High School

Grayslake Central High School is proud to announce the installation of six, new, student-designed murals in the front entrance hallway of the school.  Thirteen students from grades 10 through 12 spent seven months designing and painting thirty panels that cover both sides of the hallway from ceiling to floor. 

The murals were unveiled on Monday April 1, when students, parents, and community members gathered to recognize the artists at an award presentation.  The artists spoke to the audience about how the themes of the murals are visual metaphors that reflect the school experience.
