Gages Lake--Woodland Elementary East would like to recognize the following students for becoming ROAR kids during the month of May.
"When the students at Woodland Elementary East display values that have a positive impact on those around them, we would like to take the time to acknowledge them and encourage all of our students to display these values," said Principal Dr. Kenneth Hyllberg. "Therefore, at the end of the year the special area staff (Music, PE, Art, Library, and Computer) at Woodland Elementary East in Gages Lake nominates one student from each grade level for membership into the ROAR Kid Award Club."

ROAR is part of the district-wide behavioral framework, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) theme. ROAR represents Respect, Ownership, Acceptance and being Ready to learn (ROAR).
