Authorities Still Working to ID Woman Found in Lake Near Mundelein
The Lake County Sheriff's Office is still working to identify a woman found dead in Sylvan Lake Friday morning.

Authorities in Lake County are continuing to ask for the public’s help in identifying a woman found dead in Sylvan Lake in Mundelein Friday morning.
A jogger happened upon the body while running in the 26000 block of North Highland Avenue just before 8 a.m. on Friday, according to authorities. The jogger ran to a nearby home where a call to 911 was placed.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived and located the body of what appears to be an adult female in Sylvan Lake.
The victim is described as an Asian female. She is approximately 5 foot 3 inches to 5 foot 5 inches tall and around 120 to 130 pounds. She has short black hair. She was wearing a purple long-sleeved shirt, black spandex-type pants, and a grey skirt. She is possibly in her 40s or 50s.

Authorities with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office are actively working the case and are stilling asking for the public’s help to try and identify the person recovered from the lake, Lake County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Christopher Covelli said.
Anyone with any possible information about the subject is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 847-549-5200. This information could include someone who matches the above description that didn’t come to work when scheduled, return home when scheduled, or is known to be missing.
