Caller Threatens to 'Get Gun and Shoot Everything Up' at Lake County Jail: Police
A Chicago man is accused of making over 100 harassing telephone calls to the jail over a two-day span this past week.

LAKE COUNTY, IL - A Chicago man has been arrested for making over 100 harassing telephone calls to the Lake County Jail over a two-day span this past week, police said.
Dantrell L. Williams, 27, of the 2800 block of West Polk Street in Chicago, has been charged in connection with the calls that occurred on March 12 and March 13. Authorities said he made harassing, threatening and sexual comments and, during one of the calls, said he was "going to get a gun and shoot everything up," according to a Lake County Sheriff's Office press release.
An investigation revealed the calls were coming from Williams' home in Chicago, police said. Detectives also learned Williams had been arrested in the past for allegedly making harassing telephone calls in previous incidents in Gurnee and Lake Villa, according to the news release.

Police said Williams admitted to making the calls, was arrested and taken to the Lake County Jail. He is charged with disorderly conduct and harassment by telephone.
Williams' bond has been set at $50,000. He is next expected in court on March 17.
