ComEd Grant to Fund Village Hall Lights

The $25,000 grant will cover the cost for LED lights at the Grayslake Village Hall

GRAYSLAKE, IL -- The village of Grayslake will be updating its lights to energy efficient LEDs with the funds received from a $25,000 grant from ComEd, according to the Daily Herald. The village expects to reduce its yearly energy usage at village hall, 10 S. Seymour Ave., by 67 percent through the upgrades. Grant money this past year also paid for new lights at the public works building, 585 Perry Ave., which reduced energy consumption there by 80 percent.
