American Heroes 9/11 Memorial

Celebrate American heroes and show appreciation for their dedication while remembering 9/11 at this community event sponored by local Cub Scouts and students and teachers from the Public Service Practicum Class at Grayslake North High School. Activities will include performances by the Grayslake Knights marching band and choir, face painting by the school's art club, carnival games with patriotic themes, touch-a-truck with fire, police and public works trucks on site. Public service organizations will also be on hand to provide information on how all Americans can help their communities.
