CLC Gender Conference

The theme of the College of Lake County's 7th Gender Conference is What it Takes to Be a Man: Understanding Masculinities in the 21st Century.

The conference will focus on gender identity, masculinities, literary and media portrayals of masculinity, race, class and behavior. It includes two keynote speakers who are nationally known authors and researchers on male gender issues, break-out sessions, two lunches, international film showing and musical entertainment.
