The College of Lake County hosts this discussion between local educators and community service organization representatives as part of the state-wide Generations Serving Generations Project. The project is sponsored by the Illinois Leadership Team of the National Governors Association Policy Academy to bring older and younger citizens together in civic engagement.
The purpose of this particular discussion is to address the drop out rate and wellness issues while strengthening communication and gathering information that will be used to develop recommendations to submit to the governor and the General Assembly.
