Want to support local Grayslake farmers?Β Several Prairie Crossing farmers will offer information about their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs including the Prairie Crossing Learning Farm Prairie Farm Corps, Midnight Sun Farm, Radical Root Farm, and Wild Goose Farm. Β Β Grettaβs Goats, another farm business located at the Prairie Crossing Farm, will offer organic hand-milked goat milk soap and bath salts.Β

The Growing with Nature Organic Plant Sale is a joint fundraiser of the Prairie Crossing Learning Farm and the Prairie Crossing Charter School Parent Staff
Organization (PSO).Β Most of the plants are seeded and transplanted by Prairie Crossing Charter School students and teachers as part of their farm-based education
curriculum at the Learning Farm.Β Parent and other volunteers assist in the seeding, transplanting, and watering of organic plants that are grown in the Learning
Farm greenhouse.Β Β Β

The mission of the Prairie Crossing Learning Farm is to
educate and inspire people to value healthy food, land and community through experiences on our farm. The Prairie Crossing Learning Farm is a program of the Liberty Prairie Foundation, a 503(c)(3) non-profit organization.Β The Prairie Crossing Charter School is a public charter school where students learn through integrated, environmental
curriculum.Β Both educational organizations are located within the Prairie Crossing conservation community in
Grayslake.
