Gurnee--Woodland Community School District 50's Board of Education will host a Forum from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., January 18 at Woodland Intermediate School, 1115 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee. The event is open to the community. Participation from interested parents, citizens and community members is encouraged.
Members of the Board of Education will provide a district budget update that includes a financial overview of Woodland's financial picture, working cash bonds and budget development for the 2011-2012 school year. In addition, information will be provided regarding updated changes to school board policies and upcoming events from the Woodland Educational Foundation.
The evening will conclude with a general question and answer session.
