Gurnee--The Special Education Advisory Council of Woodland District 50 will hold a meeting at 7 p.m., December 7 at the Woodland Educational Support Center, 1105 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee.
The focus of the meeting will be on Sensory Issues and will feature guest speaker Dr. Kristin Lee Kronn. Dr. Kronn, an Occupational Therapist with Woodland School District, will present a potpourri of sensory solutions, geared towards elementary through high school age groups. She will also address individual situations. Those interested in submitting a question in advance may do so by emailing Dr. Kronn directly at KKronn@dist50.net.

The Special Education Advisory Council is a group of parents, teachers, administrators and community members who share an interest in students with special needs.
The meeting provides attendees with an opportunities to share resources and network with others regarding current special education issues while also benefiting from the expertise of guest speakers.
Upcoming meetings will be held on the following dates: February 15 and April 19.
