Fire Damages Office Building In Grayslake: Officials
The blaze broke out in the building in the 70 block of U.S. Route 45 Wednesday evening.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — No one was injured when a blaze broke out at a commercial office building in Grayslake Wednesday evening.
The Grayslake Fire Protection District was called to the single-story building in the 70 block of U.S. Route 45 at about 5:50 p.m. where fire crews found light smoke coming from the building, according to a news release from the fire protection district.
The fire was contained to an office in the middle of the building, according to a news release. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
