First Lake Co. Meijer to Open Tuesday in Round Lake Beach
The store located on Rollins Road near Route 83 will open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21.
After nearly a year of construction, a new Meijer supercenter -- the first in Lake County -- will open at Rollins Road just west of Route 83 in Round Lake Beach on Tuesday, June 21, the Daily Herald reports.
The 192,000-square-foot store and gas station will be located in a mostly-vacant shopping center that was once anchored by a Dominick’s and Wal-Mart, according to the article. The gas station has already opened and the Meijer store plans to open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday with a ceremonial ribbon cutting to be held at 10 a.m. that day.
