Flurry Of Inmate Arrests At Lake County Jail: Lake County Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

ARRESTS

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

• Martin A. Korving, 46, of the 1600 block of Wicker Street, Woodstock, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested July 13 in the 0-100 block of Lake Front Drive, Unincorporated Zion. He was given a $1,500 bond and a court date of Aug. 17.
• James D. Alexander, 31, of the 38000 block of N Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested July 13 in the 0-100 block of Lake Front Drive, Unincorporated Zion. He was given a $1,500 bond and a court date of Aug. 17.
• Robert F. Kegley, 68, of the 41000 block of N Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accued of disorderly conduct, and was arrested on July 15 in the 9900 block of W 16th Street, Zion. He was given a $1,500 bond and a court date of Aug. 26.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Laretta M. Hawthorne, 27, of the 100 block of Mariposa Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested July 14 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. She was given a $1,500 bond and assigned to branch court.
• Jonathan R. Good, 46, of the 24000 block of Crabtree Lane, Ingleside, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested July 14 at Hazelwood Drive and Crabtree Lane, Ingleside. He was given a $2,000 bond and a court date of Sept. 7.
• Kerry D. Andrews, 41, of the 0-100 block of Cremin Drive, Lake Villa, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested on July 14 at Route 83 and Lake Avenue, Lake Villa, She was given a $2,000 bond and assigned to Branch Court.
• Larry J. Montgomery, Jr., 29, of the 1700 block of Sunsine Lane, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested on July 14 at Route 41 and Route 143, Wadsworth. He was given a $1,500 bond and assigned to Branch Court.
• Jameel R. Carpenter, 24, of the 900 block of Broadway Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, aggravated speeding (82 mph in a 55 mph zone), and was arrested on July 14 at Route 41 and Gage Lane, Lake Forest. He was given a $1,500 bond and assigned to Branch Court.
• Jorge Ponce, 29, of the 1500 block of Round Lake Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of driving while license revoked, warrant for a driving under the influence, and was arrested on July 15 at Route 60 and Raymond Drive, Round Lake. He was given a $20,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 14.
• Donna Y. Woods, 59, of the 2800 block of Enoch Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested on July 16 at Sheridan Road and Beach Road, Beach Park. She was given a $2,000 bond and assigned to Branch Court.
• Kirsten M. Foreman, 31, of the 3100 block of Arizona Avenue, Great Lakes, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested July 16 at Route 41 and Route 137, North Chicago. She was given a $1,500 bond and assigned to Branch Court.
• Capria L.E. Jackson, 36, of the 900 block of N Village Road, Round Lake Beach, is accused of having a warrant for driving while license suspended, child restraint violation, retail theft, and was arrested there on July 16. She was given a $25,000 bond and a court date of July 29.
• Nicole M. Shoulders, 40, of Salem, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested on July 17 at Route 12 and Route 134, Fox Lake. She was given a $1,500 bond and assigned to Branch Court.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Luis A. Maldonado-Ramirez, 31, of the 2400 block of Samson Way, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated battery, domestic battery, battery, and was arrested on July 14 in Beach Park. He was given a bond of $50,000 and was scheduled to appear in court July 20.
• Matthew Banach, 49, of Unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of having a domestic battery warrant, and was arrested there on July 14. He was given a $5,000 bond and a court date of July 22.
• Tepaingar M. Wright, 41, of Beach Park, is accused of having an aggravated assault and domestic battery warrant, and was arrested there on July 15. he was given a $20,000 bond and a court date of July 24.
• Gregory M. Stowell, 54, of Ingleside, is accused of domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic battery, and was arrested there on July 15. He was given a $20,000 bond and a court date of July 21.
• Narsiso Carrillo, 50, of Ingleside, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested there on July 18. He was given a $5,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 12.

ATTEMPTED POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Shana R. Wright, 46, of the 200 block of Julian Street, Waukegan, is accused of attempted possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested on July 14 at the Lake County Jail. She was given a $20,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 11.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

Meiko Kuhlein, 26, of the 400 block of Liberty Street, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, and was arrested on July 15 at N Eastview Avenue and Big Oaks Road, Grayslake. He was given a $1,500 bond and a court date of Aug. 12.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY

Jeremy R. Drury, 23, of the 26000 block of W Alexander Avenue, Unincorporated Anitoch, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated battery, resisting arrest, and was arrested July 16 at that address. He was given a $25,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 6.

William J. Cochran, 46, of the 400 block of Joren Trail, Antioch, is accused of aggravated battery, and was arrested in the 27000 block of Grass Lake Road, Unincorporated Antioch on July 18. He was given a $5,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 4.

BATTERY

Joseph D. Page, 24, of the 0-100 block of N Sheridan Road, Waukegan, is accused of battery, and was arrested July 16 at Lake County Jail. He is being held on other charges and was given a court date of Aug. 21.

Teresa D. Copeland, 53, of the 34000 block of N Almond Road, Unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of battery, and was arrested on July 19. She was given a $1,500 bond and a court date of Aug. 17.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO STATE SUPPORTED PROPERTY

Robert B. Hunter, 33, of the 1300 block of Eastview Drive, Waukegan, is accused of criminal damage to state supported property, and was arrested on July 16 at Lake County Jail. He is being held on other charges and was given a court date of Aug. 12.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS

Jacob S. Muckelvaney, 25, of the 1800 block of Country Drive, Grayslake, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested on July 17 at Route 41 and Sterns School Road, Gurnee. He was given a $3,000 bond and a Sept. 2 court date.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

• Sergio Acosta De Leon, 27, of the 400 block of N Pershing Avenue, Mundelein, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested on July 17 at Route 83 and North Avenue, Antioch. He was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 26.
• Barry M. Collins, 59, of the 25000 block of W Park Court, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of having a warrant for driving under the influence, and was arrested there on July 18. He was given a notice to appear in court on Aug. 4.
• Darek Salwa, 44, of the 6800 block of N Northwest Highway, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, illegal transportation of cannabis, illegal transportation of alcohol, and was arrested on July 18 at Route 83 and Grass Lake Road, Unincorporated Antioch. He was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 26.
• Erik R. Sesko, 36, of the 25000 block of Dering Lane, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested on July 18 in the 27000 block of Grass Lake Road, Unincorporated Antioch. He was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of Sept. 23.
• Crystal L. Anton, 25, of the 100 block of Harvey Avenue, Grayslake, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested on July 19 at Route 59 and Grand Avenue, Fox Lake. She was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 26.
• Joselyn F. Brown, 20, of the 100 block of Hutchins Street, Woodstock, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, underage consumption of alcohol, and was arrested on July 19 in the 0-100 block of Lake Front Drive, Unincorporated Zion. She was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of Sept. 16.

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING

Monte F. Cornelius, 46, of the 24000 block of N Park Place, Unincorporated Antioch, is accused of criminal trespassing to a residence, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, and was arrested on July 19 at Route 59 and Grande Avenue, Fox Lake. He was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of Aug. 14.
