Foundation46 Now Accepting Nominations for its 2015 Commitment to Education Award!

Nominate Community Members By March 1, 2015

This year, Foundation46 began an annual tradition of recognizing a member of the community for demonstrating a commitment to enriching and enhancing education. The purpose of this award is to recognize someone within the D46 community each year who demonstrates an understanding that it “takes a village.” Educating our children is not simply the responsibility of those who work in our schools. Rather, it is our collective responsibility as members of a community. The award has been named the “Tom Meskel Commitment to Education Award” after its first recipient.

We encourage community participation in this process. If you have somebody in mind to nominate, please send a letter to d46foundation@gmail.com detailing how the individual fits the bill by March 1, 2015. A perpetual plaque has been hung in each of our schools and will be updated annually with the names of new recipients.
