One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to No Kid Hungry.

As part of a No Kid Hungry campaign, participating restaurants will be offering special deals and donating proceeds to the non-profit in coming weeks.
No Kid Hungry, a non-profit organization aimed at ending childhood hunger, is partnering with restaurants throughout the U.S. to offer the promotions and deals. Some of those are a one-day deal, like the IHOP deal, while many others will start at select dates in August and continue through September. Here is a look at the area IHOP locations that will be offering $1 pancakes on Tuesday, Aug. 23:
- 700 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills
- 2662 Belvidere Road in Waukegan
- 51 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove
- 4228 W. Elm St. in McHenry
- 2131 Willow Road in Glenview
- 6606 Northwest Highway in Crystal Lake
- 2250 Barrington Road in Hoffman Estates
- 1700 E. Higgins Road in Schaumburg
- 7120 N. Mannheim Road in Rosemont
No Kid Hungry is aimed at ending childhood hunger by connecting kids to effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals. This work is accomplished through the No Kid Hungry network, made up of private citizens, government officials, non-profits, business leaders, and others providing innovative hunger solutions in their communities. These partners work together, implementing solutions that break down the barriers that keep kids from healthy food, according to the No Kid Hungry website.
